Mobiles Powered with Swype Touch screen Inputs
What is Swype?
As you know a regular touch screen mobiles don’t have any physical keyboard, user types the letters only through the touchscreen. So if the user want to type the word ‘APPLE’, then he has to type each letter by touching corresponding keypad that appears on the touch screen with a figure or by using a stylus.
All that this new SWYPE technology does is that it minimizes the hurdle involved in typing each and every single letter one by one. Instead using SWYPE, user is allowed to enter a word by just sliding a finger or stylus from letter to letter, lifting only between words.
Swype uses wonderful error correcting algorithms and a language model to guess the word intended. It also includes a tapping predictive text system in the same interface. Swype was first made available on Samsung Omnia II (Samsung i8000) Windows mobile. It is available in Nokia phones including Nokia 5230 and recently released Samsung Fascinate and Samsung Galaxy S.

Right now Swype works only for QWERTY keyboards only. SWYPE will be soon available on iPhone and we hope it will touch iPad after iPhone.
