Good new to Linux users. After months of development and testing, Debian team is back with its most awaited stable release named “Squeeze”. Recently Ubuntu had released Ubuntu 10.10

Debian 6.0 operating system is released in two flavors for the first time.

• Debian GNU/Linux
• Debian GNU/kFreeBSD

Debian team boasts that their free OS runs on a total of nine different architectures.

1. 32-bit PC / Intel IA-32 (i386)
2. 64-bit PC / Intel EM64T / x86-64 (amd64)
3. Motorola/IBM PowerPC (powerpc)
4. Sun/Oracle SPARC (sparc)
