Best of Aircel-Airtel @ 98 PI GPRS Packs
Aircel Pocket Internet pack is one of the best mobile internet plans available in India. It provides a very good service with unlimited browsing and download at very good browsing speeds. Aircel provides Pocket Internet(PI) in three packs- Rs 14, Rs 29, Rs 98.
The first one Rs 14 pack is for unlimited internet pack for three days. Rs 29 pack is for 7 days and Rs 98 pack is for 30 day free browsing with no restrictions on download limit. I used all three packs and the browsing speed is same for all the three and the speed is almost 120 KBPS. Some times the download speed will go till 25 KBPS depending on the network connectivity.
Now comes the Airtel’s latest pocket internet pack @ Rs 98. This is also a very good internet pack. As this too provides unlimited browsing, there is download limit of 2GB during night times. Beyond the free usage, 30p/50KB will be charged.
Now with this info which one do you opt for your mobile internet if you have both Airtel and Aircel sim cards?
As per the connectivity, Bharati Airtel is very good. It provides good mobile services with remote connectivity at good signal strengths. But as per the experienced customers reported that they are not satisfied with Airtel’s pocket internet 98 pack because of the 2GB download limit. But to be frank what on the earth will make you download 2GB data per month on your mobile with less download speed !!
When it comes to Aircel, the browsing speed is good but during night times, the speed is slow ( as per my experience). I am quite satisfied with this pack as there is no download limit. And if you are quite sure that you donot cross the 2GB download limit, go for Airtel.

1. If you want Aircel Pocket Internet Settings on your mobile, you have to SMS PI to 121 (Toll free) from your Aircel Number. If you want to activate Rs 14 pack dial *122*114#, for Rs 29 pack dial * 234*2900# and for Rs 98 pack dial *122*98#
2. If you are Airtel customer, you can get the Mobile Office internet settings with SMS MO to 543210 (Toll free) from your Airtel number. You can activate this pack by dialing *567*11# and you can aslo get Mobile Internet Settings by dialing *567*13# or with the above given SMS.

i want 2 kno that AIRCEL internet pack for rs 98 is unlimited or not
because i m using the AIRTEL internet pack for rs 98 but with a limit of 2 GB download and browsing also

Hi this is Subash Kunwar from Bangalore. Actually, AIRCEL Internet pack for RS.98 is unlimited there is no download limit. And the speed is also perfect.
This is true that AIRCEL give unlimited with 98/-per month and as per my experiance the surffing/downloading speed is excellent then AIRTEL. perticularly i use datacard and also i experinced both number of time and by speed graph (i am not toking speed testing) actually after compairsion more then 15 times at different time AIRCEL is the best.
As usually always we highlight some drawback same here also. AIRCEL’s signal strength is less good then AIRTEL but again i would like to write here that even signal strength is 30-40 % internet is working with slow speed. that’s wy i like AIRCEL………………….
hi ,I am using Aircel postpaid 98 unlimited pocket internet on my pc even though it is said as unlimited, they charge for downloads.When i asked them they said ,only browsing is free, and they will charge for download of any pics or files or for any streaming videos.
Can someone tell me what id that 98 unlimited plan means ?
@Senthil – Fren i don’t have idea about postpaid 98 unlimited pocket internet. I suggest you to use prepaid.
airtel is much better than aircel in delhi else place i dont know . it works on roaming also
Haiii, i am using AIRCEL pocket inter NET in LAPT0P. not SO bad (97 Rs.net batter than internet CAFEs) SO aircel very GOOD net work.

Aircel pocket internet really helped me in my test , seaching on net and answering the Q were damn easy … thank you aircel .
i am a aircel user i am downloaded up-to 8 GB during night time within 1 month with rs 97 pack
i got at-least 15 KB of downloading speed some it is time up-to 26 KB, i suggest aircel if you have good coverage in your area..

I am happy to use AIRCeL POCKETINTERNT plans lik 14,27,98.
In home network speedy internet conection is AirCel PI.
I hope Aircel is best than any other service provider like Airtel,Idea,Docomo,Vodafone.

You are correct, Aircel stops it’s unlimited internet service. now they provide only 3GB, monthly limited internet for 97RS. I think now they just close the company, because who wants Aircel if there is no unlimited Internet.
i also use aircel pi of rs.98 and its speed on my pc is also good and is about 7.2 mbps but only the download speed is low.
