Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) had released a desi version of the Google Earth yesterday.With the projects like Chandrayaan,it showed the world about India’s strength in space research.

Now with the recent version of ‘The Bhuvan’ [Meaning of Bhuvan in Hindi is 'Earth'] there is no doubt that this will be the competitor of Google’s Google Earth.

What is Bhuvan:

A Geoportal of Indian Space Research Organisation showcasing Indian Imaging Capabilities in Multi-sensor, Multi-platform and Multi-temporal domain. The portal gives a gateway to explore and discover virtual earth in 3D space with specific emphasis on Indian region.

Bhuvan will be able to give you an image from only 10 meters away.

How to download Bhuvan?

As of now since it is in β version,it allows only registered users to download the software.Any have you can directly download it from this link
